wassup everyone, im new to these boards but ive been looking threw them the past few days and seems like a pretty cool place...im 18 and finally saved enough money for my first ride...i was at a used car place and happend to find a 97 2.8 v6 audi a4...so you can imagine i snatched it up pretty quick...now, i dont know jack about anything technical on cars, so im kinda looking for help here, ive looked at several of the links this site provides but i was wanting some first hand knowledge...anything i need to know about the car, your likes /dislikes? and also, like everyone else im wanting to make the car fast...anything fairly easy i can start offf with to help in that dept.? thanks

 

Welcome to the forums Sandman and congrats on the purchase. Well I can tell U that normally aspirated engines aren't that mod-able. You can try a chip, exhaust, intake, or supercharge it. The 1.8T is a better option for modding. Good luck!!

Suite3.0A4, there is no supercharger for the 97 2.8. There are very few mods. I would suggest checking out the 12 valve engine forum on audiworld.
