First time Audi owner? Possibly...
Hi all :-)
I have just joined here as I have recently sold my old car.
I haven't owned an Audi before, though I have always liked them - my favorite German car manufacturer after Porsche ;-)
Anyway, I am interested in a late (51 onwards) Audi A3 1.8T Quattro. The mix of performance and low insurance (relatively speaking) is what has singled it out.
I have just one question: Can anyone give me some tips on what to look for when buying? Are there common faults and things that I should look for and check?
Many thanks for your time, advice and input :-)
PHK.

Thanks loads,

All,
In the end, I bought a Bora 4motion. '03 plate with under 47,000 miles on the clock. Nice condition and lots of extras (sat nav, leather, rain sensing wipers etc.)
Thanks for all your help and advice :-)
