Hello all. I just bought an A6 and I am new to these cars. I usually drive a Mustang GT or Cobra. Is there anything that I should be worried about at the moment. 99,100 k A6, quatro, 2.8, na, auto all the fixings. The car has new axles front and rear, new brakes all around, but there is an ABS light that is on. Everything is in working order and the ride is smooth. I have never driven a car that is this smooth. I am looking into trading my stang for another one soon. Any info would help as far as what to look out for in these cars.

find a shop or friend that has a vag com to see if they can scan the car to see why the abs light is
it could be the abs unit itself that is a common problem

Yeah just get it scanned for codes and see what it comes up with
