Have to do the noob thing...
Greetings. Within the next 2 weeks I will be a proud owner of an01 A4 1.8T. It has 78k on itfrom a certified dealer in SW Connecticut. I'm not a total noob to Audi's though, back in 1986 I had 5000 Coupe. Sweet looking ride but ithad tranny & suspensionissues. In 20 yrs it looks like Audi had come a long way. I've been snooping around here for a week or so and I have found a wealth of info to help me make a more inteligent decision. I'm looking forward to becoming and active meber of this community.

Thanks. I think my biggest issue will be installing an aftermarket navi unit from my old car. It's an Eclipse AVN 6600. How hard is it to get ahold of wiring diagrams?

Was this 5000 coupe a C2, or a C3?
I've seen photos of C2 coupes,uber,uber rare.but never even heard of a C3 coupe..
And C1 coupes are the rarest of the rare...but those were labled as 100's still
