Hello
Just saying hello to a new forum for me.
Been an Audi lover since I was a kid - my mom had a 100ls and aunt had a Fox. Old School!
I've enjoyed my RS6 for the past five years - one of the most fun cars I've ever owned and now have an R8 sitting next to it in the garage. It doesn't get much better!

You have to ask? The R8!! Ferrari performance, Audi comfort, reliability and style! Three weeks and I've put three thousand miles on it. It will be my every day driver unless I have my kids with me. Hands down the most fun vehicle I've ever had. - even over my desert race car.
The front plate... Since it already has the molded plate for a plate, it sort of looks funky w/o one. Ohio's a bit touchy about not running a front plate too. I've not been busted w/the RS, but I was nailed in the car that the R8 replaced. Since the 8's sort of a high profile vehicle (it's funny to see people pull up along side me w/the cell phone camera out snapping pix), I figure the more I can do to keep Johnny Fun Spoiler and his blue and red lights off my ***, the better.
To help with the plates, I'm waiting on a pair of stainless steel plate frames that I'll cover in carbon fiber. I plan on doing the emblems in carbon too. A buddy of mine and I are working on figuring out how to mold the c/f over an emblem right now. I purchased one just to screw around with and see what we can do. Vacuum bagging isn't pulling the c/f cloth down deep enough into the rings, so we'll probably have to make a mold and go from there.
