Hi everyone. I just joined to start researching on 01 S4's. I'm a Subaru guy through and through, but my gf is looking for a little better car than her 02 lancer OZ. So we've been shopping used S4's. I'm looking forward to getting what information I can from this site so if you have any input on my search and the reliability of these cars it would be greatly appreciated.
Oh I'm not a Subaru bandwagon guy with an Sti. I have a 98RS which is a twin to the one I bought off the showroom floor, in 98, that is now running a 2.0 WRX motor and soon to be upgraded turbo.
What got me thinking about an S4 for my lady was, I tried chasing one down on the highway a while back but didn't have much luck...hence the upgraded turbo. So hopefully I can find one cheap and the maintenace isn't that hard that I can do some things myself.
