hello all
my name is Dan Hamilton "hambone155" im from omaha Nebraska 20 years old. i work at a stealership in omaha and our neighboring dealership has an a4. its a 1.8t 5 speed AWD.
its got 199,xxx on it and im wondering what if any i should pay for it?
i love audi's, sweet cars.
what are common problems on the 1.8t?
interference or non-interference engine?
i know that this is not the place to ask all of these questions.
but i would like to know what im getting into before i pull it off our auction lot.

Wilkommen to the forums
head over the A4 section and read the stickies. should provide you with a lot to think about for future maintenance needs and problems you are likely to encounter.
interference engine
Be sure to give it a good once over before bidding. A lot of "issues" are likely not to be very noticeable at first. I would conservatively estimate that regardless of what you pay for it you should keep about $1500 in reserve to get it on the road if there are "issues". Keep in mind that $1500 is if you plan to DIY. Double it if you need to pay someone else to do the work.
not trying to discourage you. just keeping it realistic
good luck
