Default Hello All. New to the Audi Scene.

Just picked up a 2000 A4 1.8t Quattro. So here I am all ready have the bug to see what I can do to this thing. It has 107k miles, not bad for a 10 year old car. S4 front bumper, I just put a new clutch in it this last weekend. I used the single mass fw conversion kit. I expected some chatter from the new flywheel, but nothing. Quiet as can be. It grabs nice, and I can now see why people like this car so much. I bought it for a song because of the bad clutch. I now plan on buying some S4 wheels and some performance parts. Mostly suspension. I think the car has a little to much body roll for me. Its perfect the way it is as a luxery car but I drive the thing like its a rally car so I thought of beafing the suspension up some. The brakes seem great and the car pulls really hard. The previous owner was told by his local audi dealer that the car needed a new Water pump and timing belt/chain not sure witch one, at 100k. They sure took him for a ride. they had him do a head gasket and new valves and valve job and radiater at the same time, they charged him 3700 dollars to do it. He also did a couple other small things as well, but seemed way to much money to me. To his dismay not 5 hundred miles after he does all this work the clutch goes out. Sense he was out of money he put the car up for sale and was just asking someone to pay the bill he had with Audi. So not a bad deal for me. New clutch and its back on the road and runs like a top. I did have to replace the battery too but thats minor.

I posted this in the Electronic section too, but I really need help on this asap. Have a look and see if there is any way you can help.

I have a 2000 A4 with stock (Projection) Headlights. I just bought the car and was told that a headlight was out, Didnt think anything of it, I bought a new one and went to replace it when I noticed that there was no headlight bulb in the socket to be burnt out, I put the new headlight bulb in and nothing, I still get a headlight code on dash and no light. I did notice a little bit of black inside the headlight socket where it looks like a previous bulb may have arked out inside the socket some how. Is there a fuse that could be out or ??? Any help would be apreciated as now Im driving with brights on all the time and getting the finger from everyone!
