I am an American living and working in Hungary. I recently purchased a 1999 Audi TT (1.8T with 5-speed). My wife has always loved the Audi TT, but I'm really a Chevy guy at heart. Note my website that shows how I installed a 350 Chevy V8 into a Chevy Astro. What a riot. v8astro.homestead.com

Anyway, back to the TT... I purchased it here in Hungary. I've never driven an Audi before. The shifting takes some getting used to. The throttle feels very responsive and my shifting is not smooth at all. I just need to get used to it. It's a tight car and I love driving it. I chose not to purchase the convertible, but one with rear seats to haul the kids around, but they have proven themselves to be worthless. Absolutely no room, even for my smallest child.

I'll be a frequent visitor here to get some help with things that come up.
