Hello,
Im new to this site glad to be here. I have a 1989 Audi 100, great car for its age. Just had a few questions. My Alternator drive belt came off on my way home last night about a block before I arrived home. Is this hard to replace on the audi 100 for 1989? Seems to me it loops around the alternator pulley and another pulley. Would it be difficult to replace? I do not have a lot of tools, could anyone tell me what I would need to fix it? If anyone can provide me with some information regarding putting a new alternator belt on I would be greatful. If anyone would know the tools I would need? The difficulty to do this? and possible reason aside from wear that it might have come off? Would it be an indication the alternator is going also?
