Default Drive Belt

I'm about to order a Timing Belt Kit - Ultimate Plus With Gates Racing Timing Belt from ECS Tuning I'm also going to have them install a new drive belt. do I need to replace the drive belt tensioner also?

Not unless it's making noise or vibrating. The timing tension parts always get done but the accessory tensioner stays until it wobbles or makes noise while running.

I would change the Air Cond belt tensioner while you are in there. it is cheap and might be hard to get to later. and sometimes new belts, which are now tight, will quicken wear.

Any more suggestions while the timing belt kit is going in?

Devil I don't think he was talking about the acc belt tensioner, I think he was talking about the timing belt tensioner....in which case I'm sure you agree with me - change it! If that belt goes slack..............

Mtroxel, I agree if its the timing tensioner. I assumed he meant the accessory belt tensioner - I'll amend it like you stated since that's correct:

Timing tensioner - definite replacement
Accessory tensioner - replacement when it wobbles/rattles
