HELLO MY FRIENDLY AUDIANS
HELLO..I'M PRETTY NEW AT THIS SO IF YALL CAN HELP ME, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT...I HAVE A 1997 AUDI A4T QUATTRO AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A COLD AIR INTAKE AND LOWER MY RIDE SO WHEN I PUT SOME 18" RIMS ON, IT WON'T SHOW SO MUCH SPACE BETWEEN THE TIRE AND THE FENDER FOR A PRICE THAT WON'T HURT MY POCKETS. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY STOCK AUDI (FOR BEGINNERS). THANK YOU

What exactly do you need help on?
As for the intake, are you talking about the "cone style" intake? If so, you probably need to buy a heatshield.
I believe there is also a DIY heatshield that you can make your self.

I'm gonna assume by his name that he has a V6 meaning he won't need a heat shield since he doesn't have a turbo.
K&N makes a cone intake setup for the 12v but honestly apparently our airbox is pretty good.
For lowering it on a budget, I'd look for spring/shock combo, most people like H&R/bilstein(SP) or Neuspeed/bilstein(SP), I'm saving up and looking for a deal on a C/O setup in the classifieds myself
For wheels it's your own choice but I'd stay with no bigger then 18's unless they have a decent lip.
Oh yeah, and since you have a 12v like me, just accept that it will never be blazing fast, welcome to the forums.

RE: HELLO MY FRIENDLY AUDIANS
ooops my bad...for my b6 i found the cheapest coilover system (adjustable) at one website i forgot the brand was ksport, if im going just for suspension kit id go with bilstein and h&r combo.
for wheels: u can search at www.wheelsnext.com
dependin on ur budget...seems like were on the same situation. its either u make ur car looks nicer first or make it fast, u wouldnt be needing the cold air intake for awhile if u plan to make ypur car look nice on the outside, but personally i would consider getting a muffler to give a flavor of sound to mix wd ur sweet ride.
