Lets start simple with a full custom wide body kit with some deep dish BBS wheels (like 19X10 or so) then you can go with a Reiger bodykit molded to the wide body and then paint the whole thing in Brilliant Black, with a perlecent blue candy coat on top and like 8 coats of clear, after that we can start on the Engine. So I see you have the 1.8T, well we're gonna drop that and get a Eurospec 2.0L and slap a KKK with supporting mods on that. Then maybe through in Statis coilovers and a Project Mu BBK. Got you thinking....
you asked such an open ended question. On a serious note, you should consider a chip, and then maybe a Test pipe, and some coilovers or springs/shocks to get her closer to the ground, then get some new wheels. Also consider getting an uprated DV or "gasp" a BOV. whatever foats your boat. Then look into turbo upgrades and let eh fun begin.
Maybe you want a show car instead of a bahnbrenner, then you can look into systems and get something like a sub/amp combo and then replace the stock speakers so that the whole car sounds better, then throw some D's on it.
Also you could do a suede interior and get some RS4 recaro's or some Sparco's to replace the seats, if they are not to our liking.
Hey if you want to you can raise the car up and make a rally car, whatever you want to do you can.

carbino(SP) is supposed to be a good intake but it's on the expensive side. Most people just keep the sock intake I thnk (now I'm comming from a 12v V6 so I don't really look at engien mods at all), IF you look at teh top of the main page you'll find the search function which can help yo more than I can.
Exhaust, ideally I would go with a Remus, but they are expensive and not everyone likes the sound, their is also the magnaflow option which alot of people do or you can look for companies like Neuspeed and Supersprint, also AWE.
Chips: I don't know much about but people here seem to like GAIC.
