Default Help: To buy or not to buy? 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro

I found a deal on a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro AWD. This would be my first Audi, but after doing some research on the forums, it appears that you're going to have problems with an A4 no matter what. As far as I know, this vehicle has no history of damage, and is pre-certified. So from the outside, the car looks perfectly fine and in great condition.

55,000 miles
$15,000

What I like about this particular model is that it is AWD (good timing for winter), and comes with Xenon (HID) lights. The only thing I hate about the car is the boring interior and high likely maintenance costs.

Anyways, is this considered a good deal for an A4 that appears to be in one piece? I haven't test drove it yet, but what are things that I should look out for?

Any feedback appreciated. Thank you.

First off, welcome!!

Audi's are going to have higher maintenance costs because they are more complex than most Japanese and American cars, which have pretty much mastered reliability and the use of cheap materials, respectively.

The interiour in Audi's are personally one of my favourite aspects - they are classy, and have a very solid, quality build.

Read through some of the stickies at the top of the A4 forum. If you have any questions after that, just post them - there's plenty of people here to give you answers.
