Hi. I'm brand new to the site as I just got an 2008 A4 Cab yesterday.I didn't buy from an Audi dealer so I am hoping someone might help. I cannot find a way to locate the SID number required for activation. Sirius couldn't help even when provided the vin number. Message says "updating" but at set up for sat, it doesnt not give me the option of find the SID. Is there anyone who's experienced this? I really don't want to bring to a dealer if i don't have to. Its crazy but I cannot find anyway to get that SID number.

If you open your trunk, on the left hand side there is a panel that opens up. If you open it, there is another, smaller panel, rectangular in shape and grayish, black in color, you might need a small screw driver to open it. If you open it, it will have the satellite receiver, there should be multiple stickers on the receiver that contain the ESN/SID number on it.
