Hey Guys

I'm Si from London. Just bought my first Audi. It's a Mk 1 A3, silver 1.6. Small lump I know (and I sold a Focus 1.8 turbo to buy it), but got points for speeding last year so I'm going for comfort and reliability instead of power for a bit. Great car, it's 8 years old but has only done 40k miles and the owner really looked after it. Every service, MOT, every damn wiper blade replacememnt he got from an Audi main dealer so I don't think I could have found anything more genuine. Nice forum, will be sure to have a good hunt around!!

Well it's a typical Bank Holiday weekend in London, so the weather sucks, but give it some sunshine and I'll take a few snaps. It's nothing fancy in Audi terms but it's absolutely mint - it looks like it's just been driven out the dealership. Was just wiping the dead flies and bugs off the front bumper from the motorway journey home and actually felt really proud wiping crap off those four silver rings instead of some blue oval Ford badge!!!!!

Finally some decent weather so I've got some pics of my A3 to share!!! As you can see it's looking tidy, but got a couple of little bits planned - debadge for the back and new plates (probably with text underneath reading www.audiforums.com)!!!!

Also attached is a pic of my mums beauty A3 (which I call the Red Bull!!!) It's a 2.0 TDI with a couple of extras - Sports suspension and 17 inch Audi Parabolic rims with low pofile tyres, also fully debadged at the back.
