Hi guys,

Just bought an 2001 A6 4.2Q with 170,000 miles on it for $6000.
Fully loaded, Carfax and Experian claim it all clean so I thought I'd take the chance.

I was involved in a hit and run on the highway and my insurance gave me $4000. My previous car was a 98 Nissan Sentra (it was the first new car we bought) so I was sad to see it go but oh well.

So far, I'm enjoying the ride. It pulls when I want it to, I would like to actually hear the V8 roar more but the noise reduction is understandable since it's a luxury car.

Brakes need to be replaced soon which I will be getting to probably this weekend and I do have one problem but I will obviously put that under the proper topic.

I was never a big fan of Audi. I was more into BMWs and MBs, which my family has but when I got behind this thing for a test drive, it blew me away.

Happy so far Just gotta get that problem taken care of.
