Hi guys. My name is Diego, and i'm an Audiholic.
I've been visiting these forums so long (to learn all ups+downs of audis) that i feel like i've been an active member for ever! however, it is not until recently that i decided to finally register and start to post.
I chose audi becase... well i drove one. all it took.
i was torn between a 350z an is300 and a B6 a4.
i've driven all of them... and hey, who cares if i'm slow? the a4 is p.i.m.p. (besides the 350z just didn't feel well put together and had no back seat, and the is300's interior looks designed by a 5 year old)
Well i've saved for the last couple months and now have 10k even. i'm looking for the car in dolphin, black, or red (in that order) b6 1.8tqm. i'm 20 y/o and i work at a bank. I have new credit... bout 1500 in ccs for 2 yrs and a score of like 680-690 iirc no missed/late payments. Am i crazy to think that i'll get one for 21k (23k w/ fees + 7% tax??) i'm figuring i'll give the dealer the minimum necessary to keep my payments under 300-350 (which i calculate will be between 6500-8000) and use the difference to upgrade asap!! [sm=smiley20.gif] (APR Chip/dv/BORLA EXH to start).
I am new to the 1.8t and audis in general. As a matter of fact, this is the first car i will have financed. I'd greatly appreciate AAANNNYYY 411 at all (Stealership scam advice, financing info, how you guys found exactly the right one... Its REALLY hard to find a manual quattro dolphin grey w/ platinum interior 03 a4 1.8t - my favorite one... ETC ETC
I don't opt for the 04 b/c i WILL eventually either paint lowers or go Oettinger (if i get the cash/credit for it)

OH AND BTW!!??! wth is up w/ the RARE B6s. b5s are a dime a dozen but theres hardly any 02+s
