Default hi guys and girls

hi all i am new to the forum and apologise in advance if i am posting in the wrong area i have owned my 2004 audi a4 cabriolet 1.8t for 5 days now and had a number plate bulb error the other day and today i got it again only to find out both bulbs are not working i lifted the boot to find the screws were totally rusted and cannot remove the clear plastic were bulbs would be is this a common fault with the car and could anyone give me an advice on what to do how much it may cost i am sure i have a 30 day warranty with the garage i bought it from and do you think they will cover this as it is a error any help would be much apreciated many thanks aidy

Personally I think this is the wrong area because this is the place to greet new members of the forum.
That aside, I would take the car back to the garage and talk to them.
Otherwise, you may have to break the bulb cover, extract the broken screw and replace the cover/assembly along with the bulb. I know ecstuning has the parts and I am sure some of our sponsors will have it too.
