Default Just bought my first Audi!

I just purchased a 2004 Audi A4 3.0 Quatrro and I am loving it. I am proud to be an Audi owner! Now for the first time I am actually looking forward to the winter and snow. I did have a question if anyone can help me or point me in a direction that would get me the answers I am looking for... I have 17' alloys with pirelli tires, and I am wondering if I should make a switch for the winter to 15-16' snow treads and cheaper rims to protect the new rims and increase drivability in the winter elements. Any ideas?

Thanks

Well alot depends on where you are, how much snow...it can never hurt to have winter and summer wheels/tires. My parents do the same thing for their 350z and porsche.

On a different note, yet similar to this thread. I have just purchased my first Audi and I am loving it. It is a 2005 S4 sedan. I live in colorado and it has performed very well in the snow so far. I have had 5 AWD cars before this purchase and I still have my Talon. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and Audi's are great.

I know what you mean, I am not worrying about getting stuck at all like I did last year.
