So it's official, I just wired payment for my first Audi. I was aware of the maintenance gripes many have had going into it, so I think I'm going to be happy with my purchase overall, and must say I'm very excited.

So, here's what I'm starting with:

1998 A4 2.8 Quattro, black, tinted, 5-speed.

Everything else is stock, which I'm very much looking forward to changing. Any recommendations on first mods? I'm thinking my first round of tweaks are going to be consmetic to clean up the look a little bit, and then get into performance mods after I've driven it a while (this way I'll appreciate the performance gains a little more). These forums look like a great resource, and I'm hoping to contribute as much as I get out of it (if not more).

 

By the way, how's the social scene up here in the northwest? Any Seattle area Audi clubs worth looking into?
