Hello. I'm looking to buy an A4 within the next couple of months---probably a used '07. I currently drive a '99 VW Passat. Love the way the car drives, but am getting tired of the maintanance costs. Have spent close to $3000 within the last year and half, all for "wear and tear" stuff. Anyways...

I'm kind of debating whether to buy the Audi, as I'm afraid of the reliability. Has anyone had any major problems with their Audi, or heard of any common problems? I really love the look of the A4, and don't really know of anything else out there that I would want--all the Japanese cars are kind of boring. Just kind of worried about running into the same maintanance nightmares that I'm currently experiencing. Have been looking at the consumer reports and such, but have not really found out too much. Any opinions, personal experience, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !!
