Default looking to buy Audi

Alright Im a current BMW owner/enthusist and I was thinking of crossing over to audis, Im interested in the b5 a4 1.8t. The only thing is almost every online review I read they say how unreliable they are. People at bimmerforums told me the same. I like the idea of an awd turbo german car, but I need a car that I can put 24k miles a year on without being in the shop every month. It seems like these cars are trouble prone, even people that buy them new have major issues. I know I will be stepping down in reliability coming from bmw to audi, but how unreliable are these cars?

Of course those Crazy B'Mer people will tell you that. I've owned both, had an M3 and I'll tell you that was more maintaining that my A4 has been so far. I love the AWD so much that I'm planning on moving up to an S4 and doing an RS4 conversion.

The A4 was my tester car to see how working on Audi's go and how much I like them in general. I love them, and at the same token I still love my M3 in other respects as well.

I like Audis.
