Default Looking to get an audi

New to the forum, hope you guys could help me out. I am looking to get either a new 2005 audi a4 or a used 2002 or new a4 auto, I know that the new a4 will probably cost me around 32-34K but how much does a used 2002 or new a4 go for? I live in CT so any info on any good dealer and good pricing is appreciate.

Hi auditti2004, welcome to the forum. audi prices are very dependant on location. I'd suggest going to autotrader and looking up used prices in your area.

I'm from CT and I've been looking in Autotrader ( www.autotrader.com ) and Bargain News ( www.bargainnews.com ) everyday for the last month or so for an A4. Prices for a '02 A4 seem to bottom out at $19k and top around $25k based on mileage and options. I've been looking for a 2001 A4 in the area. Also a place that seems to be good from reviews I read thus far and has a good selection is AutoMax in Marlbrough(sp?),MA. ( www.newenglandautomax.com ). Give that a try or you could even look up Audi Certified Used cars on www.audiusa.com . I haven't seen a many good reviews for any Audi Dealer in CT so far. I think the only one that got a decent rating was Audi of Fairfield but I'm not sure on that. Do a search, there were a few post about dealer experiences some where if not here then other Audi forums. Hope this helps you out! Good Luck.

I have a black book from jan that says for extra clean 2002 a4 1.8t $17,400 (w/leather add 550, nav add 6000) (without sunrf deduct450, w/o autotrans deduct 650) for a4 1.8t Quattro extra clean $19,800 (same adds & deducts). But these values change weekly. (they usually go down). You have to be a subscriber to get this book (www.blackbookusa.com) I just have the one that my friend gave me. He goes to car auctions and says these are the top prices the dealer will pay for a car. He doesn't see many Audi's go thru, mostly bmw and mercedes. I guess Audi owners like to keep their cars. Hope this helps.
