i joined this audi forum becuase i just purchased a 2001 audi a4 1.8t quattro. its five speed, gold, sunroof, power everything, 70k miles, leather and did i mention turbo. i love the car but i just dont know what the rattle noise is that i hear. its only when the engine smooths out at just one rpm and youll hear a rattle. please tell me its not the engine. i mean at idle it sounds great and when you get on it it sounds awesome but if you just keep it at one single rpm around like 2500 it just makes a rattle noise.
