Hi everyone! My name is Chris. I'm a newbie. I got my first Audi A4. It is an 05 and it's all stock. Not the 05.5

I had the BMW 328i and the 525i but sold them b/c I like to try new toys.

So now I'm curious with the Audi. I chose the A4 over the G35. I'm excited to do mods! I'm looking at upgrading the wheels adding a body kit (maybe) and such. I like it clean. Maybe I'm going to shave off the emblems...Not sure yet. Any ideas would be great!

welcome.

yeah Id probably start with wheels and a drop, and then if you got a 1.8t I'd also chip it so you can get some more power to the ground.

Yeah I'm excited. I'm looking at 19". As far as the drop. I was looking at Tein springs. Any ideas of how low I should go? Also what are the best springs I was looking at Tein and Neuspeed. I was heading towards Tein.

I do have the 1.4 where can I purchase the chip?

RE: My first AUDI!
most speed shops around you should carry some chip that you can use (usually Revo, GIAC, APR are common) 19's look really good on the B6 platform, and as far as a drop it's all personl preference, this summer I plan on slamming my A4 as close to the ground as possible without causing major damage to parts so I am going to get some coilovers but Tein and Neuspeed both make good springs, you might also want to check out H&R for some lowering springs also, everyone loves them

If you click on the A4 section and then scroll down a bit you will find a newbie guide that has a ton of information which I think will greatly help you out.

Hello and Welcome...

If you get a upgrade supsension go with the tried and true euro products. TEIN might be good for asian import cars but a nice H&R/Blistien will serve you better since they are proven on the tracks day in a day out. I have it and its great.
