Greetings, just picked up an 84 5000S off CL...I needed a commuter vehicle that was cheeeep, & found this Audi w/only 58k on it. I've owned Asian & French imports, but this is my first experience with a German car. It does have a few issues that I'll be sorting out over the next few (days, weeks, months??)...it has a power steering leak, the left rear window regulator is fired up...window goes down, but not up-a well-placed hose clamp is keeping it up for now...I'm guessing the t-belt is original, so that's gonna get addressed QUICKLY...is there any other items I should be looking at as far as maintenance goes?? The PO did plugs, cap, rotor, wires, but I'm also thinking fuel filter?? Maybe a trans svc too (It's an automatic.....)...hoping this forum will help keep my new baby running for years to come!!!!
