i bought an a4 with 220,000 km on it and blew the head as soon as i got it but got it rebuilt and havent had any problems since, i was wondering what other problems i may encounter in the life of my car many of the major components have been replaced at 200,000 km. i have full access to a shop with a lift and endless supply of tools to get the job done, i believe that the head blew due to putting 89 octane fuel in when it required 91 octane minimum and had not been drivin in 3 months or more. I haven't had any problems with the car at all since i rebuilt the engine but i did have the help of my father who is a professional and well respected mechanic.
