Default n00b from Orlando

Hey guys. Just picked up an '03 A4 yesterday. I have been admiring these cars for over a year and I was finally able to find the exact one I wanted at a reasonable price

Here is a pic or 2:

Previous to this Audi i drove a 2000 Eclipse GT that was featured in Sport Compact Car last August. I still have the car, but it is up for sale and hopefully with be sold soon. Here is a pic of it:

I dont plan to go all out with the Audi like I did with my Eclipse. Just some basic mods to give it some more juice and handle a bit better. I am excited to get started in this community and learn more about this car which I have adored for so long!

Welcome to the forums. I saw your car in the magazine and it actually was an inspiration to a customer at our shop. He wanted a DSM but liked the new Eclipse body style so he had us build him a custom turbo kit for it.

Really? That is awesome! I am glad I could inspire a fellow 3G owner

Do you have any pics you the setup you created? I'd be interested in seeing it.

I can take some pictures next time I see the car. It is a pretty stout motor consisting of JE Pistons, Eagle Rods, and a Precision SC-61 Turbo along with a FMIC, 720cc injectors, and tuned with AEM EMS.

Is it a 4cyl? The EMS works with the 4G64, but not the 6G72 (well, not easily anyway).

Yes it is a 4 banger. Personally I would have chosen the V6 but it wasn't my car, I just built it.

The 4G64 is an awesome motor. We had one up to 17psi on stock internals once. The V6...not so much, lol. I blew mine up at 8psi one night. But, it was time for a rebuild anyway
