Just got an '04 2.7T S-line with 39,000 miles certified pre-owned. I am looking at doing some simple mods to get a little bit more performance. Three of my thoughts were new diverter valves, air filter(cone style?), and chipping. Do these things mess with warranty? Any thoughts/knowledge about these thigs would be great.

*Absolutely loving the new car.Only other car was a1999 Chrysler Concorde. Decided to go with something "a bit more sophisticated" (an understatement?)

To answer your question regarding voiding warranties because of modifications would varry. With all the time I have been into the Audi scene, I have heard many different stories regarding modifications. Some dealership are fine with it and some aren't.

For chip, there are usually different programs you can run. One of them would be the stock program which you can use when taking your car to the dealer.
