Default New 2003 A4 Quattro owner

I am new to this scene, I just picked up my new (to me) 2003 A4 Quattro in Dallas TX and enjoyed ever mile back to Detroit, MI. I have an Uncle with a 1996 A4 2.8 and he praise about it daily, 145,000 miles new it still feels brand new. Now that I have the car I am looking to upgrade a few items. For starters I need to improve the 1.8L T. I noticed a few times where it would have been handy to have a couple extra ponies, I was looking at the ECS programing and exhaust options. I need help determining what is good. Second, I would like to upgrade the stereo to either one with SAT radio or the Audi factory NAV unit. I need to know if this is possible. Also I would like to replace the review mirror with one that has the auto dim feature. Lastly I would like to replace the steering wheel with one that has audio and heat controls. Please help with any of these. Thanks in advance.

Also Im looking for information on possible issues I need to watch out for with my new purchase. Any heads up would be greatly appreciated. Im interested in hearing about issues that other owners have run into so I can identify and prepare for them.

Hey welcome to the forums. The OEM Nav+ system is very nice. Check out http://navplus.us for info in retrofitting it. It's actually pretty easy.

Welcome to the forums. Nice Audi. You will love the Quattro in Detroit winters - it's unbeatable in the snow!

Little over $17 grand with 40,050 miles on it. We just had a huge snow fall and I got to test out the Quattro......everything is true to a T! The Quattro system is unbelievable!!!!!!! Even on a sheet of ice. I need to know if APR is a good way to go for Chip Tuning and exhaust. Plus I have a custom auto shop saying I need to put a BOV in instead of a DV. I told them that most info I have seen and heard says not to put one in but he said that he deals with them all day long and a BOV is the way to go.....is he blowing smoke up my *** to get the sale? I have a general tech question posted under Tans issue that I need attention on so please let me know what you guys think. Thanks for all the info so far. This is definitely the best forum I have been on.
