New A4 2002 owner from Boston
Hi Folks,
Just became the owner of a 2002 A4, 1.8T Automatic with 70K miles. No sport package or anything like that - just the standard options. The interior definitely needs some TLC and I will be looking at the posts on this forum for tips on restoring the interior so its as close to new as I can get it.
Namely the drivers and pass. side door panels and window switches are all scuffed up, as well as the headlight **** and panel - showing that ugly white plastic underneath the chipping. The cupholder is shot as well and the ashtray wont close.
Im hoping that fixing the above with some general leather reconditioning won't be too costly. If you guys can recommend anyone in the Boston area which "restores" Audi interiors that would be great.
In the future I plan to slap on some nice 17" rims, do a slight tint on the windows any other small "bang for your buck" mods that you knowledgeable folks can offer. Basically things that are cheap and easy to do but make a nice difference in the aesthetic of the car.
Welp - look forward to participating in the forum!!
P.S. Out of curiousity - what would be a good price for this car - aside from the above the exterior is generally in good shape with some small scratches, ect...? I want to see if I got jipped or got a good deal!
