Default New to Audi; New to Cars

I'm finally getting a car. It will be a '99 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T that my dad's had for the past few years. Here's a link to a Car Domain site I put up last year: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/646115

I'm new to automobiles in general. Other than knowing how to drive a stick and how to fill a car with gas, I'm pretty uneducated.

Where should I start with performance upgrades? I'd like to modify it for Autocross, and do most of the work by myself. There's a big automotive club here at school, so I should be able to find somebody to help me that knows what they're doing.

What are the best websites for aftermarket A4 parts?

Thanks.

Well it all depends how much you wana put in to it, you can do suspension for under 1g and then boost the perf with a chip or a k04 is probably best for you, or ya could go big with a gt28rs set up and have hella power.... Welcome to the forum man the a4 section will be even more helpful

Welcome to the forums. As BadLuckAudi said, you'll have better luck in the A4 section. There's also a thread with a ton of performance links at the top of that section.

Hey welcome to the forums. Had any thoughts in taking a performance driving class?

Now that you mention it, I was thinking about doing one but never looked into it. I'll Google it now, but what are the best websites for info on performance driving classes?
