New to the Audi family, but here to stay.
I'm extremely new to understanding car functions but I'm doing some homework and catching on quick. After driving my first car for three years (A 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 with 290,000 miles and a bit rough around the edges) I got a 2000 Audi A6 2.8 Quattro two weeks ago and I have nothing but praise for Audi thus far. After sitting down to read the manual I was utterly amazed at the technology. Everything in the car seems to be stock but still very current. I mean headlight washers and motion sensors?! Come on now thats good stuff! This is a true luxury machine! It is a pure joy to drive and I take great pride in it. I bought products to maintain the car and plan to keep it in pristine condition. I almost feel guilty putting miles on it when I drive it but I love going places in it.
Any how I am glad to see that others feel the same about their Audis!

welcome to the forums
glad you are enjoying your car. be sure to spend some time in the A6 section, lots of good reading there. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but try a search first. And remember in the words of my good friend/forum member Bob Martin "Face it, your car is basically the German version of a Buick"

After reading a bit I learned it is more or less the "grandpa car" but I don't really mind. It sure beats my old dodge!
