Hey all, just got me a '98 A4 2.8 5-speed couple weeks ago, never owned an Audi before and looking to do some performance/fuel econ mods and curious as to how easy they may be. My first planned mod is a cold air intake; any advice on how easy such a mod may be to DIY or would I be better advised to take it to an Audi dealer or eq. garage and have them install it when I buy it? I saw a couple pix of some of your guys' engine compartments and I was pretty impressed, hope to have mine looking like that someday and I look forward to becoming more familiarized with everything Audi as part of this forum. never take it to the stealership unless you have to.
cold air intake is pretty basic i think my wife could do and she has no arms!
