Hello! I'm the proud owner of a 2000 A6 Quattro with the 4.2L V8 and 5 speed auto. It is the gold color and looks like it's new. I bought it with 48,600 original miles! It put me back about $14,500 though, is that a good deal? It's very smooth driving, and feels very solid. The only problems I noted were the center display on the speedo cluster is hard to read, and the cruise control doesn't work. I'll be examining this forum to see what I might need to do to fix these problems (though I don't think I want to mess with the cluster with the low miles as it has...). Anyone know of a good service manual and where to get one? I'm a pretty good mech if I have a service manual to follow.
