Nice, I have the 2.4 version (APS)
In a year I have changed oil/filter twice. Air filter once and sorting out a cabin filter.
Replaced alternator brushes = NZ$5.50. (Valeo brand 120 amp alt, real real easy job!!) Cars done 295,377kms.

It had yellow coolant in it when I got it, which I think has caused some indefinite problems, like with the thermostat. Which has the plastic 078121121k housing...

Which was not a great idea by Audi...
Check to find out what yours is, if its plastic it will give trouble by leaking one day. So get a 2nd hand 078121121j Aluminium version so you can replace it when doing the timing belt (every 70,000kms).

Find your owners manual (or look beside the spare tyre) for the option codes, there's a neat option decoder on the internet.

And figure out the 'Hack' that gets you extra computer info from the Climate control, 49 & 51 are CTS (coolant temp senders)

I also had to fix the drinks holder, where the spring clips in. Dug the slot deeper with a hot knife tip. And greased the slides.

Also regreased the seat slides, that makes a big difference.

Replaced the corrugated insulation around the spark plug leads on the (right hand drive) drivers side.

Will fit 'Moon pools' Audi logo lights in the doors when I adjust the left window track, and fix/replace the LR window track.

Headliners sagging too…. YouTube shows you how to fix it.

Drivers side outside CV is getting replaced because its clicky, because the boot split, so replacing inner boot too. NZ$117 for all the parts.

I really like the Audi's. Have picked up x 2 A4 B5 1800's with gearbox problems, to fix. Maybe another with a head gasket leak this week.

Should have got a 2.8 station wagon last week, too late for the auction. NZ$425...
It would have been a great asset with the towbar, in hindsight.
I would like a 2 door 1800 too. For fun.

Playing around with OBDII units now. $12 on the internet. Fun.
