What up yall? I bought a black 99.5 (i believe) A4 2.8 Quattro Manual w/ sport package about a month ago to get me through the tahoe winter (and beyond). Its exactly what i was looking for: two owner, second owner had it since 2000, and under 87000 on the clock! I read up on the B5 (mainly from this site but also audiworld, audizine, audidiy, and fortitude) a few months ago and then when i was ready to buy a car this one popped up on craigslist the second day i was looking! I come from the 4th gen (92-96) honda prelude community, and i know how the forum thing works, mainly search, search, search. I only made one post in my prelude forum and that was a few months before i sold the car to show the final product! I will post another thread in the B5 forum with a few technical questions and such that i couldnt find by searching, but thank you everyone for this great forum!

Anyway, you're right about the search. But again, don't be afraid to ask questions.

 

I hope to have this car for a while, so im def gonna pace myself. considering its a 30v im not gonna try to make it fast, i want it to be practical, efficient and economical, but that doesnt mean it cant still be bad ***. ill probably keep it pretty stock through the winter then small tweaks from there

 

Sounds like a plan.

Get some wheels and lower it! You'll be smiling everytime you see the car. These two things change the look of the car drastically.
