Ok so im new to this audi a4. I just bought a 96 fwd 2.8 5-speed. Has blown headgasket, but i got a really good deal. Um i am a young wrench, buh went to uti, an worked at a shop in s.f. called rescino performance, an was part of their crew with the sprint cars.

I live in the east bay area, 510.

Work on my own cars, owned too many.

im not new to the forums, but was wondering about how many hours it takes to do the heads, if anyone knew.

 

so my car just got delivered last night at 1 in the FLippin Morning!! rediculous right?

none the less here are pics of her last night and after the wash this morning





and the motor.... im thinkin the SOHC are the 12v motors??

 

the 96 2.8 is a 12v head over to the b5 section and you can get more specifics about your car!

im getttin ready to start the headgaskets, should i start another thread? ill be posting pics up.
