hello, hoping someone can help with audi a6 est both front windows hard to go back up, tried other motors and adding earths, windows do go up but very slow and do need help most times

Audi a6 2000 front windows wont go back up easy, always need help.
changed motor still no joy. Should the main live only have 5volts or 12volts.
Checked the earth and added new earth no joy.
Cant afford to put new regulator in on the off chance it fixes. any help would be great
