New from eastern long island ny
Hey guys and girls yesterday I bought my first Audi. It's a 1998/2000 B5 a4 s-line 1.8T
The previous owner was an idiot and thought it was a Honda. Many odd mods on here but for 1400 bucks and 68k on the engine and tranny it seemed to be a good deal.
The first things I'd like to get are stock headlights, stock taillights, an S4 bumper w/ fog lights, and 18" 2004 S4 rims, and a neuspeed exhaust.
Anyone else from NY ?? I'm using an iPhone so I'm not usto this layout yet. Hope to meet some of you at a meet this summer.

we have a few LI members and a bunch of NY/NJ folks floating around too. Sounds like you found a pretty sweet deal due to a clueless PO. Just be careful as clueless owners are more likely to neglect the simple maintenance stuff. Lots of good information to be found in the A4 sections of the forums. Definitely the most active group. Lots of knowledgeable folks there too.
you should probably think about changing your name (Nick). check the "Off Topic" section for more info on that (see screen name NickBroderick). Its all good actually, just be aware, you don't want to be confused with that guy.

anyone know of a good tune shop on LI? also turns out its in better condition than i thought it was, we put it up on the lift today, and small improfections here and there but looks like with a little bit of tlc gonna be all road worthy.

I will when i get it back from the shop! lol!! Also the color it is now is ugly!!!! gonna paint it wet gloss black. Anyone have suggestions on suspension kits? coilovers or lowering springs? I'm trying to sit about 2 inches lower than stock.

yu shuda went to waterefest !! they had coilovers as cheap as 550 !!! ... but yu can go with h&r lowering springs there like 250 yull need to get shocks eventually theyll go after a certain amount of time if yu wanna stay on yur stock shocks... & lol yea my paint is fcked up on my quarterpanel
