You don't come off as a snob at all. I love it when people have their own opinions on things, especially when it's a lady.

That isn't my car, I'm a B5 guy, but you can get one pretty much at most Euro online stores. ECS Tuning carries them but I think 034 has better price. That lip comes on Seat Cupra in Europe but its pretty much universal. You can fit it on anything with some heat gun. They come in black and I think it looks good as is.

Chipping the car actually doesn't affect the gas mileage. The companies actually claim better MPG with a tune.

Well I am very glad to know you didn't take my response the wrong way, what a relief. I am not even trying to start drama of any kind!! lol. I really do appreciate the opinion though. This is a whole new field for me, so I appreciate the input from experienced Audi owners. Maybe one day I will go run 18"s but who knows because of the roads.

I really do like that lip. I will have to look into it more and price it out. It does look good and seeing how my Layla is already black I really wouldn't have to worry about painting it. Totally spaced that I own a black car and that the lip probably wouldn't need painting. Not use to have a black car. lol.

Do you have any sources or links that I could further read up about chipping the car? If it where to actually give me better mpg I would definitely consider it more, than I am now. But I need see the facts and proof first. I guess I should speak with my shop too and see what they say too, or if they can even work on an Audi.

I don't think 18's are that bad. 19's is when it starts getting rough.

Check out APR. I think they have the best program/tune for the 2.0T engines.

I ran 18"s w a low profile tire on my first Evo... The ride was pretty rough, which say something since the ride of an Evo is aggressive/ somewhat rough in the first place. Hit one bad pothole and ended up with a bent wheel. So its definitely something I will have to really sit down and consider since I work in an area where the roads are even worst.

Oh and thank you for the heads up. I will definitely look into it. Thank you!
