grabbed a 97 a4 v6 quattro the other night..

overall i like the car.. but i can already tell i've got my hands full!!!

car needs some good tlc to be what i want it to be... (and all i want is dependability!!!)

has 187000 on it.. drives and rides smooth..

but the autotragic transmission is giving me some problems...

when coming to an abrupt and FULL stop.. the tranny pops out and back into gear.. shifts just fine after that..

I was told to do a "pan service" replacing the tranny fluid/filter... but when i took it to a shop (not an audi shop.. just a napa) they said it could worsen the problem.. they also told me they didn't have the "tool" needed to work on the audi....

any ideas??


also, any one here in the atl or surrounding area? (that's the closest city to me) i need to find some random interior parts and some window motors!!
