Hello Everyone-

After living in Europe for three years, and seeing all the beautiful cars the wife and I decided to take advantage of a Diplomatic Sales program last May before heading back to the states.
We decided on the Audi and place our order for a 2011 A4 Avant. We're hoping for a September deliver and it is not coming fast enough.

We currently own a 2001 VW Beetle 1.8T, and with trying to start a family and my odd obsession for station wagons we decided the Avant would be a good choice. The DS program allowed us to custom build it to our specifications and have it delivered to a nearby dealer when it rolls of the assembly line in Germany.

Looking forward to sharing my Audi experience on here and learning a few things about the car.

 

Update from Germany today, is a deliver of August 31. The day coulnd't get here any sooner.

Excellent! I have a 2011 A4 (sedan) on order as well. The latest update from my dealership is delivery sometime between 8/16 - 8/28.

We are also pretty excited about the car getting here! This will be my first Audi and we simply fell in love with the car when shopping around in April/May earlier this year.

 

Waiting for this car to arrive just may be the death of me...

Finally... longest wait ever, but our 2011 A4 Avant Premium Plus Titanium Pkg is ready for pick up.
Going out to get it tonight, after work.
Dealership asked on the phone if I was absolutely sure I wanted it. They've had several customers today asking about it.

I'll post pictures of it in the A4 threads this weekend.
