New Guy checking in
Figured this looked to be the place to check in and make my first post.
I'll stand up and tell you about myself.
I just bought a 2000 S4 stick with 34K mi. Black on Black. After 2 days I love it.
I came from a 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD that I owned for all 9 years of it's life. So I have been in the Turbo AWD fold for a while. That car had some slight mods, like a bigger turbo, intake, boost controller, wheels, tires, seats, guages, etc. We'll it had seen better days, I'm getting older (just hit the big 40) and have kids that I didn't when I got the Talon. Needless to say, I have spent some time on the internet forums and with tools in hand on that machine.
SOOOOO, It was time to move up in style and functionality. S4 here I come. After doing some brief reading, I think I can chip this baby and move up in performance as well. And leave it at that. I also hope to spend less time on the Internet and with tools in hand. Although I have already found a VFAQ on how to change the headlight washer fluid pump. Couldn't hold washer fluid when I bought it. Hopefully that is the last surprise.
