New guy from Colorado
Hi to all, new guy from Colorado here. I'm not currently an Audi owner, but I am shopping for one
I have owned a bunch of euro cars including a few MB's and Land Rover's. Never an Audi though. With a long commute down from the mountains to the Denver area, I think it is time I buy a nice AWD car that I will enjoy sitting in for three hours+ a day. I'm looking at late 90's to mid 2000's A6's and A8's.

The 6 will be more sporty than the 8. But, if you're looking for pure comfort, go for the 8.
True story:
When I bought my 1999 A8, back in 2005, the ONLY place I could find what I wanted in the price range OI was shopping was Chicago. I live in DC (ish). After working out the prelims over the phone, and a buy-out deal on my return ticket, I flew into Chicago after putting in a full work day, here in DC. Liked the car. Sold my return tkt to the dealer, drove it off the lot and headed home that evening. 10 hours later I was pulling up in front of my day-job; sleepy, but by no means fatigued or bone-weary, after such a long drive.
I long since wrecked her, but, I promise you that another 8; possibly an S, is in MY future automotive plans.
