Default New here

Hello, I'm Aaron. I purchased a 2001 A6 4.2 in November of 04. Nice car but I've had it in for service 4 times already. Valve body in tranny went out and service engine light would come on for a few days and go off. Took 3 trips for them to replace the mass airflow sensor, hasn't been on since. Be nice if there were some decent performance upgrades for the car?!?! I company in the Quad cities told me chipping it would give me 28 HP and remove the speed limiter ($400 skins). Sound about right to anyone.

Yeah, but most people without turbos won't waste their money on chips. Chips on non-turbos don't really give much for the investment.

BTW:

welcome bud.. and i agree as well on the chip tuning on n/a cars.. although it CAN give better drivability/throttle response and sometimes about 10-15hp..

hopefully i'll see you around this season!
