Default New here, new to Audi!

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and also a new Audi owner. But I'll explain a little on how that happened!

I owned a Nissan 300ZX up until about two weeks ago, it was my baby but ended up costing me way too much money. Over the course of the year and a half that I had it, I changed everything except the engine. One day on the highway that finally blew, so I threw in the towel and decided to get something newer, more reliable and more practical for day to day commuting.

I found a 2007 Audi A4, 2.0T, Quattro 6 speed in white and I had to have it! So a few days and paper trails later I now own the Audi.

My first impressions of the car are quite positive! It's smooth, comfortable and has quite a few creature comforts EXCEPT an Auxiliary output for my iPod

I look forward to reading up on the forums and familiarizing myself with the Audi further! Though I do have one question, Whenever I'm making a left turn I can feel something clunking or moving and I'm assuming it might be one of the suspension components. The reason I ask is if it might be a common issue on the car? I'm going to get it checked out to be 100% but anyway glad to be here and I'll be around!

Wikommen to the forums!

Lots of good information to be found in the A4 section. be sure to read the stickies. as far as your clunk sound, perhaps you need to check the anti-clunk fluid. its a special Audi thing. costs about $400 a quart but the good news is you only need about two gallons to take care of the whole car

all sarcasm aside, could be a bunch of different things: first thought is a CV joint. could also be control arms, tie rod, axle, half-shaft.....

good luck
