New Member - 2002 S8
Hey everyone. New member, third-time Audi owner. Recently sold my 2000 BMW 540i Sport and picked up a mint 2002 S8, black on black (picture below.) Was right about to pull the trigger on an E38 740i Sport (which I had been hunting for for months), and the S8 came available for one day about an hour north of where I live, and I drove it once and was hooked. Never thought I'd ever drive anything but a BMW after having had an E36 M3/4/5 and the 540 (in the background of the picture), but here I am. Have also owned a 1994 90CS and a 1998 Audi Cabriolet, and enjoyed them both. But this car - the S8 - is far and and away the best car I have ever owned. Just a fantastic car. Picked it up yesterday and have been learning my way around ever since. Looking forward to everyone advice and input. If this forum is anything like bimmerforums.com (where I've hung out for the last 5 years) I'm sure I'll learn quite a bit.
First question, if anyone can help me out: how the heck do I get the memory function to work on the adjustable seats? Have found conflicting info on-line, and nothing I've seen has worked.
Anyway, quick shout to everyone, and I'm looking forward to the forum -

really clean looking car, glad you are enjoying it. not 100% sure about the memory seats. I'm guessing yours work the same as mine (both '02) but it has been so long since i adjusted mine I don't remember. I think you hold the M button as you press one of the number presets. Make sure the stop button is in.
