New member. Hello
Just picked up a 2018 Glacier White S5 Coupe with most of the goodies (No adaptive steering or carbon kit). Only a few days in and really happy with the car. I am coming from a long list of BMWs. A 2002 540, 2012 5351 M Sport, 2016 X5, a 2016 Z4, and afew BMW MCs, 2011 R1100rt, 2012 K1200gt, and lastly a K1600gt, All gone now except for the X5 after a long battle with cancer (cancer free now), and an ugly divorce.
Back on my now feet after 4 years of hell and time for another great car. On this last round of research I through Audi and Mercedes into the mix of vehicles to check out.
After several weeks of test driving and working deals the latest offerings from BMW (430, 440, 540)and Mercedes head to head with the S5 I decide it was time or a change, Although I still love beemers and still think they handle slightly better, they are a tad harsh. The Audi performs beautifully with great looks, handling (adaptive), and the advanced technology I really wanted.
I am looking forward to learning and contributing where I can.
